All high school boys who want to play basketball need to sign-up on the youth all or outside the college class.  Practice will begin the week on November 3 and games will begin on Saturdays starting December 6th.  All team members must attend four church activities each month to be eligible to play the following month.  Any non-Highland members needs to see Pastor David in order to participate.  Go here for the forms and more information.

Accountability Groups

Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

We will be starting new accountability groups January 8th.  If you are interested in joining several other students who help each other grow in their relationship with God this is for you.  Each Wednesday the group meets for prayer, encouragement, and a challenge from God's word with an adult mentor.  If you have any further questions, please see Pastor David.  Download this to see the general purpose and requirements for youth accountability groups.
