Prayer Chain

We have a prayer chain here at Highland Baptist Church. Currently most prayer requests are conveyed through email to the members of Highland Baptist Church who are on the secretary's email distribution list. We would like to expand this distribution of prayer needs to reach all those in the church who understand the importance of seeking God's direction for our church as well as lifting the needs of others before God our Father.

Those participating in this ministry will be contacted with the prayer needs, both spiritual and physical, that are entrusted to us for prayer. The prayer requests will provide, in confidence, as much information as possible for you to pray over. The communication of the prayer requests to the members of the Prayer Chain will be at the discretion of the individual. In other words, you can receive the prayer requests by email, telephone call, or any other means that is convenient for you.

In addition to the prayer requests, participants will be asked to attend a corporate prayer session at least once a month, as well as other special occasions that are opportunities for corporate prayer. Participants will also be asked to be available to go before the Lord with urgent prayer at any time during the day or night.
