Rev. Bryan Chapman began his ministry at Highland as Associate Pastor in
September of 2001. On June 1, 2005, Bryan became Senior Pastor. He received
his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in
May 2004. Bryan is married to Donna and they have five children, Rachel,
Stephen, Anna Grace, and twins, Sarah and Matthew.

Rev. Craig Saunders has
recently joined the staff as our new Associate Pastor on October 1, 2006. He
has completed two degrees, a Masters of Education, and a Bachelors of Music.
He has continued his education pursuing a Masters Divinity from Southeastern
Baptist Theological Seminary. He first accepted God’s call as a Christian
School teacher and also served as a part-time Minister of Music in a local
church. In 1987 he began serving as an Associate Pastor and has served in
that capacity for almost 20 years. Craig is married to Brenda and they have
one adult child Amanda. His mission in life is to use the gifts that God has
given him to Glorify God in a way that will bring people to a real
relationship with Jesus Christ. His favorite phrase is “Joyful in Jesus.”

Mrs. Lesley Brunson began her ministry at Highland in December 2004. She
is a graduate of Samford University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal
Performance Degree. Lesley is married to Richard, Executive Director of
North Carolina Baptist Men at the North Carolina Baptist State Convention
and they have three children, Meredith, Nathan and Taylor.

Mrs. Lisa S. Burney began her
ministry at
Highland in February 2007. She
received her undergraduate degree in Education from UNC at Chapel Hill and
her Masters in Education from
North Carolina
State
University. Lisa has
ten years of experience in children’s ministry and taught elementary school
for eight years. Lisa and her husband, Frank, have two grown sons.
Mr.
Lyle Sacco began his ministry at
Highland in March of 2008. He
received his B.A. degree from
Southeastern
College in the area of
Biblical Studies with a minor in History of Ideas.
Lyle served twice as a Student
Ministry Intern at
First
Baptist
Church in
Cary and later as the Interim
Youth Minister.
Lyle and his wife, Joanna, live
in
Raleigh.
